Kairuki Hospital (KH) formerly known as Mission Mikocheni Hospital (MMH), is one of the leading private hospitals in Tanzania. The Hospital is owned by Kairuki Health and Education Network (KHEN). KH opened its doors to the public in march 1987 when it started offering a variety of health services to the community. KH also serves as the teaching Hospital for Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU) and Kairuki School of Nursing (KSN), both of which are incorporated in KHEN.
The University provides hostels for both male and female students; although not enough to accommodate all students admitted, the University is working on the scarcity problem. The hostel is located opposite the existing main University building in Mikocheni, Dar es salaam.
All graduates are eligible members of HKMU Alumni, the University has accumulated approximately more than 900 graduates in various programmes since its first graduation. The University has now initiated the Alumni Association to strengthen connectivity and work together to make a difference.
