Applicants
must have at least two principal level passes,
one of which must be at a level of D or above
in any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Mathematics attained in the Advanced

Form VI) or its equivalent. |

Applicants who are holders of Medical Assistant/Clinical Officers Diploma / Certificates, Diploma in Nursing or Dental Assistant, who have credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at the Ordinary Level Certificate of Secondary Education (National Form IV or its equivalent) and a minimum working experience of 2 years. |

In response to the increasing number of individuals
with biosociopsychological problems resulting
from HIV / AIDS entanglement,
drug abuse, parenthood adolescent crisis, change
problems in work place etc the HKMU's department
of Behavioral Sciences and Ethics has introduced
a Certificate course in WHOLISTIC THERAPEUTIC
COUNSELING.

Entry Programme |
| |
The Pre-university programme offered at HKMU
is designed to provide a sound theoretical and
practical foundation in basic sciences subjects
to students who, due to the structure of their
local education system, just fall short of the
entry qualifications to the Doctor of Medicine
(MD) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
degree programmes at HKMU.

Entry Requirements;

Applicants
who have gone through the 8-4-4 system and passed
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
at C grade and above; or those who fall short
of one science subject. |

Applicants
who have at least two A-level passes at E grade.
Female applicants with one principal pass may
be considered provided they do not have F grades
in the other two subjects. |

Applicants
who hold a Diploma in any allied health science
subject. Such applicants must have at least
two credits at O-level or its equivalent in
relevant subjects for admission into.

Course Duration - one semester
of 24 weeks between January and June.
