Faculty of Medicine - Pre-University Programme
Pre-University Entry Programme
The Pre-university programme offered at HKMU is designed to provide a sound theoretical and practical foundation in basic sciences subjects to students who fall short of the entry qualifications.
Entry Requirements:
i). Applicants who have gone through the 8-4-4 system and passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at “B” grade and above.
ii). Direct applicants who have three Credits at O-level or its equivalent in relevant subjects, and at least three A-level principal passes at E grade or two principals of not less than 3.0 points. Female applicants with two principal passes at E grade may be considered provided they do not have F grades in the other two subjects.
iii). Equivalent qualification: applicants who hold a Diploma in any allied health science. Such applicants must have three Credits at O-level or its equivalent in relevant subjects, and at least two Principal Passes at E grade in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics at the Advanced Level Certificate of Secondary Education.
