HKMU and the California State University Dominguez Hills sign MoU

Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU), and the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) have agreed to cooperate and collaborate in the areas of research, teaching, and other relevant educational development activities, especially those pertaining to human health delivery services and opportunities.
Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU), and the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) have agreed to cooperate and collaborate in the areas of research, teaching, and other relevant educational development activities, especially those pertaining to human health delivery services and opportunities. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held on 4th March 2010 at the CSUDH in USA.

The selected highest priority area to start with is the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programme, with emphasis on the launching of a novel, joint, part-time BScN degree programme, online, based at HKMU, catering for Tanzania and other countries in Africa, in the context of the critical shortage of Nurses on the Africa continent, and the prevailing serious problems of HIV/AIDS, malaria, diabetes, cancer, etc. image
