Hubert Kairuki Memorial University is fully accredited and chartered Higher Learning Institution, recognized in the United Republic of Tanzania, through the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
Kairuki Hospital (KH) serves as the teaching hospital for the University. KH has direct access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities, including, among others: a modern CT Scanner, Ultrasound and X-Ray Machines (Fluoroscopy), Operating Theatres, and Out-and-In patient facilities.
The University provides hostels for both male and female students; although not enough to accommodate all students admitted at the university. The university is working on towards eliminating the accommodation scarcity on already established projects. The current hostel is located opposite the existing main University building in Mikocheni.
All Graduates and Academic Staff of HKMU are Eligible members of HKMU Alumni, the University has accumulated approximately more than 900 graduates in various traditional programmes since the first graduation, so now it has initiated the Alumni Association so as to tap the benefits of its units.
